Featured Etsy Favorite – Lali’s Little World on Etsy

I was browsing Etsy yesterday, as I so often do, picking through various collections of things and going down various crafty rabbit holes to find little treasures to add to my favorites, when I came across something completely marvelous in every way:

I think I squealed like a crazy person when I saw it.

There aren’t [...]

My bum is on the Swedish

Remember that Tom Green song? Ahh, those were the days. If you couldn’t guess by the title, this is another post about the infamous IKEAHHHHGHH!

I somehow mustered up the sanity and stamina and went there today. For 4 hours. I intended to be in and out, had a list of what I needed. Of [...]

Thank you, Natalie Dee

I’ve been scrolling through archives on this site and felt tempted to share all of them because they’re all completely hilarious, but this one is just a little too relevant not to share:

It's all about the (cold) process

I love soap. It’s a fairly recent discovery of mine, brought forth by my husband who began bringing back soap from hotels for me on his business trips.

I love it. The creamy, yummy, sudsy kind. French milled, cold process, glycerin, hot process, whatever it is. It is amazing.

My First Feature in an Etsy Treasury

A few moments ago, I got a lovely note from a seller on Etsy saying they featured Ludpig Van Beethoven in a treasury!! (you can click on the image to bring you to the treasury, assuming it is still active on the Etsy site) I think he’s likin’ the view of that sexay underwear in [...]

Packaging Etsy Items - First Impressions

If there’s anything I’ve learned from being the recipient of various goods from Etsy, it’s that good packaging is a big deal. Sure, you could toss your artwork in a zip bag and stick it in a mailer and send it as is, but that’s the kind of thing you get from a huge manufactured [...]

The First Customer Jitters

I can hardly believe this, but in just a few days since opening shop, I’ve had 2 sales with a third sale on the way once I take a picture of another custom item. It’s surreal! Ironically, not one customer has been anyone I know or who I’ve reached out to on Facebook. This is [...]

First Post!

“There will always be more articles to read, more stuff to learn, no matter how much you read and make excuses for not being ready. Just do it already!!” This is what I said to myself after spending over 2 years getting acquainted with Etsy and pining over the idea of having an Etsy shop. [...]
